*कथा सूत्र* *मनमाध्वगौडेश्वर वैष्णवाचार्य श्री पुंडरीक गोस्वामी जी महाराज*
*भजन की तड़प* गुरुदेव महाराज कहते हैं, कि एक स्थिति यह भी आ जाती है, कि भगवान का नाम लेने में भी घबराहट होती है। कि मैं कहीं कृष्ण कहूं और कृष्ण आ ही ना जाएं ।एक प्रसंग आता है गौड पाद जी का। शंकराचार्य जी के दादा गुरु गौड़पाद जी, वृंदावन में रहते, दिन भर बैठे-बैठे भजन करते। दिन में 10 बार ठाकुर जी जाकर पूछते, कि दादा सब हमारे ब्रज में ठीक है कि नहीं। तुमको सब आनंद है ना। तो कहतेहां, ठाकुर जी। 10 बार प्रिया जी आ जाती हैं,बाबा तुमको चिंता तो नहीं है। खूब तेरा भजन सब बढ़िया। तो कहते हां, हां, सब आपकी कृपा है। भजन, भोजन सब बढ़िया। हां जी, हां जी, प्रिया जी, आपकी कृपा है ।एक दिन बाबा उदास बैठा था। प्रिया जी ने पूछा बाबा मुझे कई दिनों से तुम प्रसन्न नहीं लग रहे। आज मैंने दिल किया कि पूछ ही लूं ,तो बाबा बोले कि प्रिया जी सब ने पकड़ लिया मुझे ।मेरी एक जिज्ञासा है ।तो प्रिया जी ने पूछा क्या जिज्ञासा है आपकी? बाबा बोले प्रिया जी, मेरी यह जिज्ञासा है, कि मुझे यह बताओ कि मेरा सौभाग्य उदय कब होगा? प्रिया जी तो स्तब्ध रह गई ,कि बाबा वृंदावन का वास, 10 बार ठाकुर जी पूछने आ रहे हैं, 10 बार मैं पूछने आ रही हूं। इसके बाद तुम कौन से सौभाग्य की कल्पना कर रहे हो? तो बाबा रोते-रोते बोले कि प्रिया जी मैं क्या बताऊं? मुझे तो भजन करने में भी घबराहट हो रही है। बोले कि मैं जिस दिन खूब डूब कर कहता हूं, *हे कृष्ण,* ठाकुर जी आकर सामने खड़े हो जाते हैं। मेरी तड़प ही नहीं बढ़ पाती। और ठाकुर जी किसी दिन नहीं आए हो, तो मैं खूब तड़प के कहता हूं *श्री राधे* तो आप आकर खड़ी हो जाती है। शुरू में तो मुझे बहुत आनंद आता था, लेकिन बाद में मुझे यह आफत सी लगने लग रही। और एक बड़ी मन में तड़प होती है जब मैं कृष्ण को पुकारता हूं तो कृष्ण मेरे पास आकर खड़े हो जाते हैं। उतनी देर आपको उनकी प्रतीक्षा करनी पड़ती है। और जब मैं प्रिया जी पुकारता हूं ,तो आप आकर मेरे सामने खड़ी हो जाती है। उतनी देर कृष्ण को प्रतीक्षा करनी पड़ती है। तो प्रिया जी बोली, बाबा आप क्या चाहते हो? बोले मैं यह चाहता हूं कि जब भी मैं आपको पुकारुं आप आओ ही नहीं बल्कि एक दूसरे में गलबैया डाल के आपस में रस लेते रहो, और मैं बाबा यहां पर आपकी तड़प मेंआंसू बहाता रहूं। और आपके लिए तड़पता रहूं

The restlessness for Bhajan
Guru Maharaj says that a stage comes when the devotee is even scared to utter the Divine Name. Because, if he cries for Krishna and He comes then what?
There is an incident relating to Shree Gaudapadaji. He is Jagadguru Shankara’s Dada Guru. He used to live in Vrindavan devoting his time in Bhajan.
10 times during the day, Shree Thakurji would come and enquire that Dada, is everything okay in my Vraja? Are you doing good? He would reply that yes, everything is fine. Priyaju would come and ask him that Baba, I hope that nothing is bothering you! There is no obstruction in your Bhajan? To this, he would say, by your grace there is no problem! Bhajan and Bhojan, both are good.
One day Baba was very sad. Priyaju asks him that Baba, you look sad, what is the matter? To which Baba replies, ‘Priyaju! I have a query?’ What is it? ‘Priyaju! Please tell me when will good-luck shine on me?’ On hearing this Priyaji was stunned. Living in Vrindavan, with Thakurji and me enquiring regularly about the wellbeing, then what can be more fortunate than this? Sobbing Baba said that what do I say Priyaju? I feel scared to do Bhajan. The moment I get absorbed in Bhajan and utter ‘Hey Krishna’, He appears before me. Because of this, my longing or restlessness for Him doesn’t increase. The day my longing becomes more and if He doesn’t come then I call upon you and you come!
In the beginning I used to be delighted but now it seems to bother me. The other thing which bothers me is that when Shree Krishna is with me, how restless you might be feeling for Him? Similarly, when you come, He might feel restless for you.
A bit perplexed, Priyaju asks him that Baba, then what do you want? To which he replied that whenever I call any of you, please be with one another and visualising you both, I will be engrossed in your thoughts with tears flowing down my cheeks.
