*मनमाध्वगौडेश्वर वैष्णवाचार्य श्री पुंडरीक गोस्वामी जी महाराज*
गुरुदेव महाराज कहते हैं कि अब घर भी आपके पास है, व्यवस्था भी आपके पास है, क्या जीवन में अब कभी ऐसा अनुभव हुआ है, कि किसी चीज का अभाव है, कि काश मेरे जीवन में अब श्री कृष्ण भी हों। यह भक्ति को आपके जीवन में उत्सुकता देगा या तो अभाव से प्रवेश हो, या प्रभाव से प्रवेश हो। अभाव और प्रभाव ईश्वर का, जगत का नहीं, वस्तु का नहीं, गोपी श्री कृष्ण के चरणों में जगत के अभाव का अनुभव करके नहीं गई। उसने अपने किसी भी गीत में जगत के अभाव का अनुभव नहीं किया। जगत तो उसका खुशहाल था। परिस्थितियों के वशीभूत होकर नहीं गई, स्थिति में गई हैं। चंद्रिका परिस्थिति है, चंद्रमा स्थिति है। रोशनी में बदलता है प्रतिपदा, पूर्णिमा, अष्टमी, पर चंद्रमा एक है। आपके जीवन में स्थिति बदलें स्थिति न बदलें। कभी सुख होगा, कभी दुख होगा, हानि, लाभ, जीवन, मरण, यश, अपयश। यह सभी जीवन में होगा। हमारे जीवन में क्या हुआ है, या तो भगवान के अभाव का अनुभव हुआ है, या भगवान के प्रति प्रभावित हुए हैं। यह दोनों चीज कब होंगी,?जब भगवान के प्रति भाव का जागरण होगा। भाव के जागृत के लिए ही सत्संग है। अभी स्थापित क्यों नहीं है, क्योंकि हम जगत के किसी वस्तु को ना होने को ही अभाव मानते हैं। ईश्वर को पाने न पाने को अभाव नहीं मानते। कि चलो आज दर्शन नहीं मिले कल कर लेंगे।

Guru Maharaj says that by the grace of God, you have a house, all sorts of comforts and facilities. In such a situation when you have everything, does this thought ever cross your mind that ‘Alas! I could feel the presence of Shree Krishna in my life’? This thought will be the beginning of Bhakti, whether it is out of paucity or influence. The Gopi did not go and surrender at the Lotus Feet of Shree Thakurji out of any influence or paucity. The Gopis were not afflicted by poverty. They had fulfilling lives. They did not cry out to Shree Krishna out of any compulsion, they approached Him fully aware of everything. The Moonlight is the effect whereas the Moon is the cause. The phases of Moon are waxing or waning but the Moon remains as it is. The situations in life keep on changing. ‘HAANI LAABH JEEVAN MARAN JASH APJASH BIDHI HAATH’. All these are part of life.
Generally, people see the Divine influence but hardly experience His absence. When will this happen? When we develop a longing for the Lord. This will happen in Satsang. We are unable to experience this because our feelings are attached to the material world.
We have not been able to develop any feelings for the Divine.
