जब जिज्ञासा का उदय होता है तो ऐसा समझो जैसे पहाड़ों के भीतर जल आ गया है। प्रतीक्षा है कि कब किस दिन दो बदल जाकर टकराकर ऐसे बिजली को पैदा करें कि ऊपर के पहाड़ की जितनी चट्टान है, जितनी परत है, वह सब फूट जाएं और
जैसे ही फूटेंगे फिर ज्यादा रियाज और प्रयास की जरूरत भी नहीं पड़ेगी, भीतर भरा हुआ जल खुद ही फूट कर बाहर निकल जाएगा। और न जाने कितने लोगों की प्यास को तृप्त कर देगा, शीतल कर देगा, आनंदित कर देगा। कितनों को आश्रय प्रदान कर देगा। उसी प्रकार
जिस क्षण ‘गोविंद मुझे प्राप्त हों’ इस प्रकार कि तीव्र लालसा तुम्हारे दिल में पैदा हो तो समझ लेना, दिल जल से भर गया है। पर अभी भी प्रतीक्षा करो।
अभी इतनी जल्दी से आगे मत आ जाना, जोशीले मत हो जाना, मत बैठ जाना गोविंदा के द्वार पर पदों को लेकर के, ना पहुँच जाना अभी वृंदावन। अभी पात्रता नहीं आई है।
राधारमण के पास जाने से पहले इस बात का विचार कर लो, उनकी आँखों से आँखे मिलाने से पहले इस बात का विचार कर लो क्या उनकी नजरों में देखने की औकात तुमने पाई है?
जब दिल भरा हुआ हो तब एक काम करो- जैसे तांसी हथौड़ी लेकर के पत्थर को तोड़ा जाता है। उसमें से बस निकल जाता है। निकलते-निकलते एक थोड़ी देर में एक ऐसी चोट लगती है कि खुद-ब-खुद उस पत्थर में से मूर्ति के गाल उभर आते हैं, उस मूर्ति में से माथे उभर आते हैं, आँखे उभरती आती हैं, कान उभरते चले आते हैं।
बस निकालते जाओ बस आखिरी ही एक ऐसी चोट होती है कि अपने आप ही उस स्वरूप का उसमें से उदय हो जाता है। ऐसे ही
जब दिल भर गया हो तो एक काम करो-
किसी महात्मा के आश्रय में जाकरके बैठ जाओ। वो शब्द की बहुत हथौड़ियां मारेगा। वो शब्द की टांसी हथौड़ी तुमपर चलाएगा। तुम चिंता मत करो। बस बैठे रहना। आलयम् पर्यंतम्।। भागवत् का दूसरा श्लोक कहता है। किसी न किसी दिन अपने आप ऊपर पड़ी हुई वासना की परतें फूट जाएंगी और जब तुम्हारी गोविन्द से नजरें मिलेगी तो आंसुओं की धारा निर्झरित हो जाएंगी।
वो फिर ऐसा निर्झरण होगा, वो फिर ऐसी धारा का प्रवाह होगा कि या तो उस धारा में बहते हुए तुम उनसे मिल जाओगे या बहते हुए वो ही तुमसे आकर टकरा जाएंगे।

When ‘Jigyasa’ or curiosity arises within an aspirant then it is akin to the flow of a stream from the mountain. That moment is awaited when two clouds clash with one another on the mountain top and a thunderbolt is created which cracks open the solid rock blocking the path of the flow;
The moment this happens, immediately the water which was unable to flow because of the obstruction just bursts out, no great effort is required for this to happen and the water will start flowing on its own. It will then quench the thirst of millions of people, thereby providing cool comfort and a feeling of serenity. It will provide refuge to so many. In the same way;
The moment this desire that ‘I should attain Shree Govind’ arises within you, then please understand that the heart is full of water! But, you still need to wait!
Don’t be in a hurry to rush forward, don’t get so excited, don’t go and sit at Shree Govind’s door singing Padas nor rush to Shree Dham Vrindavan, yet! You are still not qualified!
Before you go to Shree Radha Raman and try to look into His eyes, please think over again and again that are you qualified or pure enough?
When your heart is overflowing with emotions then please do one thing – Like a sculptor uses a chisel and a hammer and keeps on hammering till such time a beautiful image emerges from the block of stone, the forehead, beautiful eyes, the ears and so on!
HE continues to labour till that final blow which enables the beautiful image to come out! In the same way;
When you are full of emotions then do one thing –
Just go and surrender yourself in the refuge of a Mahatma. He will hammer you with Divine words! Like the sculptor, he will go on chiselling. But don’t budge! ‘Aalayam paryanttam’|| Says the second shloka of Srimadbhagwat! Some day, the layers of passion or lust will crack up and then when you see Shree Govind eye to eye, a stream of tears will start flowing!
It will be such a flow that either floating in it, you will go and merge into Him or He will flow into you!
