सत्संग का अर्थ मन को लगाना नहीं है इसलिए मन यहाँ से तुरन्त भागता है। सत्संग का आयोजन बुद्धि को संतुष्ट करना नहीं है इसलिए बुद्धि कहती है मुझे समझ नहीं आ रहा है आप क्या बोल रहे हो। बुद्धि कहती है सो जाओ।

बुद्धि बड़ी चतुर है इसको दो ही चीज़ आती है जो समझ आती है उसके प्रति सजग रखती है और जो समझ नहीं आती है उसके प्रति कहती है सो जाओ। ये तुम्हारे स्तर की बात नहीं ये तुम्हारे लेवल की बात नहीं।

सत्संग का उद्देश्य शारिरीक स्वास्थ्य नहीं है इसलिए कहा जाता है शरीर को एक आसन देकर चुपचाप बिठा दो।

मन सत्संग में इसलिए इधर- उधर भागता है क्योंकि इसका उद्देश्य मन को भी संतुष्ट करना नहीं है। मन को संतुष्ट करना होता तो बहुत आसान तरीका है। इसका उद्देश्य बुद्धि के तर्को को भी तृप्त करना नहीं है अगर बुद्धि के तर्को को तृप्त करना होता तो उसके लिए भी दुनिया में बहुत सारी लैब्रेरटीज़ बनी हुई हैं।

बड़ा आसान था हमारे लिए शरीर को स्वस्थ्य रखना बहुत आसान है। किसी व्यक्ति के लिए मन का रंजन करना बहुत आसान है।

कथा का उद्देश्य शारिरीक स्वास्थ्य नहीं है कथा का उद्देश्य मानसिक मनोरंजन नहीं है कथा का उद्देश्य बुद्धि के तर्को को स्थापित करना नहीं है कथा का उद्देश्य है इन तीनों डायमेंशन्स के परे ले जाकर इस सबसे ऊर्ध्व गमन करते हुए इस सबसे विदेहात्मक स्थिति ले जाते हुए व्यक्ति को कहीं न कहीं कभी न कभी वो आध्यात्मिक अनुभूति घटित हो।

The meaning of a spiritual discourse or satsang is not just to engage the mind, hence the mind immediately runs away from it. The purpose of satsang is not to satisfy the intellect either, which is why the intellect says, “I don’t understand what you are saying.” The intellect urges one to sleep.

The intellect is very clever; it either keeps us alert to what it understands or tells us to sleep when it doesn’t. It says, “This is beyond your level.”

The goal of satsang is not physical health, which is why the body is asked to sit quietly in one position.

The mind wanders in satsang because it doesn’t want to get satisfied. Satisfying the mind would be very simple. The goal is not to justify the intellect’s arguments; there are many laboratories in the world equipped for that. Keeping the body healthy is easy for us and even entertaining the mind is also easy.

The purpose of the discourse is not physical health, mental entertainment, or establishing intellectual arguments. Its purpose is to take one beyond these three dimensions, leading to a state beyond the physical, mental, and intellectual realms, where one may eventually experience spiritual realization.
