हरि बोल की ध्वनि महाप्रभु को अतिप्रिय है। हरि बोल दोनों शब्द जैसे नाम हो गए हैं। अगर वैसे देखा जाए तो इसमें एक प्रकार से आज्ञा है हरि बोल, तु हरि बोल।
हरि बोल के बहुत सारे अर्थ हैं। हरि बोल मतलब तू हरि बोल, दूसरा अगर कुछ कहना है तो हरि से बोल, तीसरा सारी भक्ति सिद्ध हो जाएगी अगर हरि आपसे बोलेंगे। सब कुछ है इसमें।
वैसे देखा जाए तो हरि शब्द ही आधार हैबोल शब्द भी इसमें जुड़ गया। और ऐसा जुड़ गया की हरि हरि अकेले बोले तो आधा अधूरा-सा लगेगा। आदत हो गई है अब। हरि बोल कहने में पूरा लगता है।

The sound of “Hari Bol” is very dear to Mahaprabhu. The two words “Hari Bol” are the Divine Name. In a way this carries an instruction; “Hari Bol,” meaning ” Chant Hari’s name.”
“Hari Bol” has many meanings. One meaning is “You should chant Hari’s name.” Another is “If you want to say something, say it to Hari.” A third meaning is that your Bhakti or devotion will be fulfilled if Shree Hari speaks to you. Everything is contained within these words.
If we observe carefully, the word “Hari” is the foundation, and “Bol” (speak) is attached to it. It is attached in such a way that if we just say “Hari, Hari”, it may feel incomplete. We have become so accustomed to it that saying “Hari Bol” feels complete.
