ठाकुर जी कब प्रकट होते हैं सबसे पहली बात *भद्र कृष्णाष्टमी*
अगर अपने अंत:करण में श्री कृष्ण को प्रकट करना हो तो सबसे पहली बात अपने जीवन को भद्र बनायें। अपनी इंद्रियों के ऊपर ऐसा फिल्टर लगे कि कोई भी अभद्र चीज आपके अंदर प्रवेश न कर सके यही श्री कृष्ण को प्रकट करने की भूमिका है। सबसे पहले अपने जीवन के चारों तरफ भद्र को प्रकट करें।
जब जीवन में भद्रता आती है तो कृष्ण का मतलब होता है आकर्षण। आपके भीतर आकर्षण होगा संतों का, साधुओं का, कृष्ण का, कथा का, कीर्तन का, वृंदावन का और जब इनका आकर्षण होगा तो जीवन में श्रद्धा, सत्संग, नाम, अनर्थ निवृत्ति,यह सब आठ क्रम घटित होंगे।
जब आपके जीवन में प्रेम की प्राप्ति हो जाएगी तो भगवत अनुभव उत्पन्न होने लगेगा उस भगवत अनुभव को स्थाई बनाने के लिए यह युक्ति आनी चाहिए कि कितना छुपाना है और कितना दिखाना है जिस दिन यह गोपन छुपाने की युक्ति आ गई। पहले जीवन को भद्र बनायें उसके बाद आपके जीवन में आकर्षण होंगे साधु संत नाम मंत्र आदि और उसके बाद जब भगवत अनुभव होने लगेगा तो उसको छुपाने की कला आनी चाहिए। साधु के सामने दिखाने आ जाए और संसार के सामने छुपाना आ जाए तब तुम्हारा हृदय रूपी गोकुल में गोकुल चंद्र का प्रकाश हो जाएगा

Bhadra-Krishnashtami:
When does the Lord manifest?
The very first condition is Bhadra Krishnashtami; the auspicious appearance of Krishna.
If we want to manifest Shree Krishna within our hearts, the primary requirement is this: make our life bhadra; pure, refined, and auspicious. Such a fine filter has to be put over our senses so that nothing unrefined, vulgar, or impure is allowed to enter our inner domain. This cultivation of bhadrata itself becomes the sacred ground upon which Shree Krishna manifests. We must first cultivate auspiciousness within to purify our life.
When bhadrata develops, Shree Krishna reveals Himself which means attraction arises. Within such a purified heart, attraction awakens automatically: attraction toward sadhus and saints, toward Shree Krishna, toward Katha, kirtana and towards Shree Dham Vrindavana. When this attraction arises, the sequential unfolding of spiritual life occurs naturally; faith or Shraddha, holy association or Satsang, the chanting of the Divine Name or Nama Sankirtana, and the gradual cessation of inner obstacles or anartha-nivritti; these eight stages manifest in their respective order.
When Divine Love or prema is attained, the direct experience of the Divine or Bhagavad-anubhava, arises. Yet, to make this experience permanent and enduring, a subtle wisdom must develop; how much to conceal and how much to reveal. The day one acquires the sacred art of concealment or gopan, spiritual life matures.
First, we must become bhadra.
Then attraction toward saints, the Holy Name, and sacred mantras will grow.
Thereafter, when divine experience begins to dawn, the art of concealment needs to be developed.
When we learn to reveal our inner experiences before the saint and to conceal it from the world, then our heart becomes Gokula Dham and the luminous moon of Gokula, Shree Gokula-Chandra, shall rise and shine.
