सनातन धर्म में कथा ही वर्तमान समय में सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावशाली और संपूर्ण समाज को एकत्रित करने वाला साधन है। जिस प्रकार विष और अमृत अपना अपना प्रभाव दिखाते हैं चाहे उन्हें श्रद्धा से ग्रहण करो या घृणा से ग्रहण करो। इसी तरह कलयुग में दो ही साधन है जो कि सर्व समर्थ हैं, जिस तरह बच्चों के पालन पोषण में माता और पिता दोनों की जरूरत होती है अगर कोई कमी होगी तो उसके ही पालन पोषण में होगी ऐसे ही जो हमारे भीतर श्रद्धा रूपी कन्या है उस श्रद्धा रूपी कन्या को एक उंगली पकड़ा दो भगवान के नाम रुपी पिता की और दूसरी उंगली पकड़ दो भगवान की कथा रूपी मैया की। जैसे बच्चा दोनों की उंगली पड़कर चलना सीखे तो पहाड़ों पर भी चढ़ जाता है, ऐसे ही हमारी श्रद्धा रूपी कन्या और विश्वास रूपी बालक को नाम और कथा का सानिध्य मिल जाए तो यह इतने समर्थ हो जाएंगे की जीवन परिवर्तित हो जाएगा
इसलिए भगवान का नाम और भगवान की कथा यह दो ही साधन श्रेष्ठ है

In the present times focusing on the tenets of Sanatana Dharma, Katha is one of the most effective medium to unite the society. Poison or Amrit have their own characteristics whether we consume it with respect or disdain. For the proper upbringing of the children, both the parents have equal importance and responsibilities. In the same way, in this age of Kali, there are two tools which are very useful in the bringing up of the girl child whose name is Shraddha or faith, is to let her hold the hands of the Divine Name or Nama that is the father and the Katha, the mother. Holding the hands of the parents, a child can climb the mountain, in the same way these daughter Shraddha and the son Vishwas or trust, the moment they are supported by the Divine Name and Katha, they are nourished and become strong.
So, in the present times, let us strive to devote ourselves to the Bhagavad Naam and Bhagavad Katha.
