*कथा सूत्र* *मनमाध्वगौडेश्वर वैष्णवाचार्य श्री पुंडरीक गोस्वामी जी महाराज*
ब्रज मंडल में परमात्मा ने जन्म लिया है, क्योंकि राम के आने को रामनवमी कहते हैं, नरसिंह के आने को नरसिंह चतुर्दशी कहते हैं, वामन के आने को वामन द्वादशी कहते हैं, बुद्ध के आने को बुद्ध पूर्णिमा कहते हैं, शिव के उत्सव को शिवरात्रि कहते हैं, पर जब श्री कृष्ण आते हैं तो उसे कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी कहते हैं यहां बड़ी बात यह नहीं है कि कृष्ण आए हैं। बड़ी बात यह है कि कृष्ण ने जन्म लिया है राम जी ने जन्म नहीं लिया है, राम जी प्रगट हुए हैं। *भए प्रगट कृपाला* कौशल्या हितकारी यानी कौन प्रकटे हैं? जो कौशल्या का हित करने वाले हैं। जब देवताओं ने श्री कृष्ण की पहली स्तुति की है तो उसका नाम गर्भस्तुति है, वह इसलिए है क्योंकि पहली बार उन्होंने किसी मैया के गर्भ में आसन जमाया है। पहली बार प्रभु ने जन्म लिया है। अगर कोई पूछता है कि गोकुल वृंदावन की जय जयकार क्यों होती है मोक्ष नगरी तो काशी है तो महाराज श्री कहते हैं कि और जगह अयोध्या में, उज्जैन में ,व्यक्ति जाता है तो मुक्ति पा लेता है। *ब्रजमंडल तो उसे कहते हैं जहां मुक्ति भी मुक्त हो जाती है*। ब्रज उसे कहते हैं जहां मुक्ति भी मुक्त हो जाए। ब्रिज में परमात्मा ने जन्म ग्रहण किया है गोपियों ने गोपी गीत में पहली पंक्ति में इसे प्रमाणित किया है *जयतितेधिकम काम जन्मना बृज*। कहीं कुछ श्रेष्ठ होता है तो उसके पीछे कुछ ना कुछ श्रेष्ठ हुआ होता है कोई पता नहीं ठाकुर जी ने इस पूरी भूमि पर लीला की है, किसी जमाने में अगर यहां पर भी श्याम सुंदर के चरण पड़े हैं, तो ही इस जगह पर कथा संभव है। ऐसी लीलाओं का दर्शन ही हम ब्रज परिक्रमा में भी करते हैं।

Katha Sutra:
When the Divine assumes a human form and incarnates as Shree Rama, it is called Ram-Navami, when Lord Narasimha appeared, it is called Narasimha Chaturdashi, when Lord came as Vamana, it is called Vamana Dwadashi, when Lord Buddha came, it is called Buddha Purnima, the marriage of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati is celebrated as Mahashivratri and when our Kanahiya comes in Braj, it is called Krishna Janmashtami. The most important thing to be understood is that Lord Krishna has taken birth, whereas Lord Rama incarnated.
“Bhaye pragat kripala deendayala Kaushalya hitkari.” The one who has appeared for doing the good of Mata Kaushalya. In the case of Shree Krishna, when the Devas offer the first veneration to Him, it is known as ‘Garbha-Stuti’ because the Lord has planted Himself in the mother’s womb. He has taken birth for the first time.
People ask that Kashi being the place of liberation or Moksha, why people do the ‘Jai-Jaikar’ of Gokul-Vrindavan? To this Maharajshri says that at Ayodhya or Ujjain or Kashi, we attain Moksha but ‘Our Brajmandal is where even Mukti attains liberation! The Divine has taken birth in Braj and the Gopis declare in the Gopi Geet’; “Jayatitey dhikam janmana Vraja”.
When anything extraordinary takes place then be sure that the land has been sanctified by great deeds in the past. Shree Thakurji has chosen the Brajmandal to perform his Leela. Most certainly Shree Shyamsundar’s Divine Lotus Feet must have touched this place that is why we all are sitting here and listening to the Bhagavata Katha.
We can have the Darshan of such Leelas during the 84 Kosa Braj Parikrama!
