*मनमाध्वगौडेश्वर वैष्णवाचार्य श्री पुंडरीक गोस्वामी जी महाराज*
गुरुदेव महाराज कहते हैं कि आप चरणों को पकड़े रहो और जैसे-जैसे मन साफ होता जाएगा आपकी दृष्टि में ठाकुर जी आते जाएंगे। जैसे किसी भागने वाले को रोकना हो तो, उसकी छाती से पकड़ लो, तो भी जोर लगाकर निकल कर भाग जाएगा। उसका हाथ पकड़ लो, तो भी कोई ना कोई युक्ति करके हाथ मोड़कर छुड़ाकर भाग जाएगा। अगर तुमने उसके पांव ही पकड़ लिए जैसे किसी साधु संत को रोकना हो सब लोग पांव पकड़ लेते हैं ।कोई जाकर लेट कर पांव ही पकड़ ले, अरे भागेगा तो पांव से ही, पांव ही पकड़ लिए, तो भागेगा कैसे? भागेगा तो गिर जाएगा। पांव पकड़ लिए तो छुड़ाने के लिए पूरे को रुकना पड़ेगा। इसीलिए सत्य कहते हैं, कि ठाकुर जी के चरण पकड़ कर रखो। यह ऐसे भागने वाले ठाकुर जी हैं, अगर पांव पकड़ लिए तो धीरे-धीरे ठाकुर जी की छवि अपने आपके हृदय में प्रकट होती जाएगी।

Katha-Sutra:
Gurudeva Maharaj says that hold on to the Divine Lotus Feet of the Lord, as your mind gets cleansed and purified, you will be able to see Him. If someone is running and if we hold him tightly or hold his hand he will somehow manage to pull himself out of the grip and run, but if you catch someone’s feet, he will not be able to move. That is why we hold or touch the feet of Sadhus and Saints. When we hold the feet, then the person will have to stop and pick us up, only then will he be able to walk. That is why, hold on to Shree Thakurji’s Lotus Feet. We cannot catch Him but when we hold His Lotus Feet, He appears in our hearts.
