आज शहरों में जाकर देखिये, बालकों को बड़े से बड़े समाज में बड़े अच्छे से बैठना आता है पर कोई घर में संत आ जाय तो बड़े घबरा जाते हैं। यही समझ नहीं आता कि हाथ कैसे जोड़ें? घोंटू तक भी हाथ पहुँच जाय तो बहुत बड़ी बात है।
बड़े से बड़ा बनावट कर लो, घर में संत आयें और बालक क्या व्यवहार करे? उसी से ढोल की पोल खुल जाती है। एक सीधी बात कह रहा हूँ। चाहे रोज परिक्रमा लगा लो, चाहे रोज सब कर लो पर जब घर में महात्मा महापुरुष आए और घर का बालक उस सन्त के प्रति उसके हृदय में क्या आदर है? वो कितना उसके प्रति समर्पित है? उसी से पता चल जाय कि इस घर में संस्कार की कितनी वास्तविकता है।
और मेरा एक निवेदन है बालकों को भगवान की महिमा मत सुनाइये, आज जरूरत उसकी नहीं है, बालकों को सन्तों की महिमा सुनाइये। भगवान की महिमा तो संत अपने आप समझा देगा। संत तो देखे हैं, भगवान तो देखा नहीं, वो तो वैसे ही नहीं मानता। राम कब हुए? कृष्ण कब हुए? नृसिंह ऐसे हुए, वराह ऐसे हुए ये सब तो वैसे भी नहीं पता उसको पर अगर
बालक संत की महिमा से परिचित हो गया तो कहीं न कहीं उन संतों के पास उसे भगवंत कि भी प्राप्ति अवश्य हो जाएगी। भरोसा भगवान से कम होता है, संत से ही भगवान का भरोसा दृढ़ होता है।

Go to the cities and see, the children of decent families know how to sit with the others in the society but if a Saint comes home they feel uncomfortable or a bit amused! They are confused about how to offer Pranams? Even if the hands reach upto the knees, it’s a big thing!
You may try to do as much decoration as you like but how the child should behave when a Saint comes seems to be a very difficult! This itself lets the cat out of the bag or exposes the bringing up! I am saying it very simply, even if you do the Parikrama every day or whatever else you do but when a Mahatma comes home then what sort of respect the children at home offer towards him? How surrendered or humble you are? That itself will show the culture and the etiquette in the family.
I have a humble request, you may not explain the glory of God to the children, it is not so important, but please tell them the greatness of our Saints. The Saints are well versed to talk about the glories of the Divine. The Saint is visible and is right there in flesh and blood but the Divine is invisible, so the child in any case doesn’t believe what you say! When was Shree Rama there? When did Shree Krishna come? How did Lord Narsingha incarnate? How did the Lord come in the form of Varaaha? The child in any case is oblivious of these things. But;
If the child gets acquainted with the greatness of the Saint then sooner or later, he will know God as well in their company. It is hard to believe in God but through the Saint one learns to believe in God!

यदि भवान् अद्य नगरेषु गत्वा पश्यति तर्हि बालकाः बृहत्तमे समाजे बहु सम्यक् उपविष्टुं जानन्ति, परन्तु यदि कश्चन साधुः तेषां गृहम् आगच्छति तर्हि ते अतीव घबराहटाः भवन्ति। हस्तं कथं संयोजयितुं शक्यते इति न अवगच्छति ? यदि हस्तः घोण्टुम् अपि प्राप्नोति तर्हि महती वस्तु अस्ति।
महती व्यवस्था कुरु, साधुः गृहे आगच्छति बालः कीदृशः वर्तयेत्? तत् ढोलम् उदघाटयति। अहं भवद्भ्यः सरलं वदामि। भवन्तः प्रतिदिनं परिक्रमं कुर्वन्ति, प्रतिदिनं सर्वं कुर्वन्ति, परन्तु यदा महात्मा इव महापुरुषः गृहम् आगत्य गृहस्य बालकस्य तस्य साधुस्य प्रति आदरः नास्ति तदा तस्य हृदये को आदरः भवति? सः तस्याः प्रति कियत् भक्तः अस्ति ? तदा एव वयं ज्ञातुं शक्नुमः यत् अस्मिन् गृहे मूल्यानि कियत् वास्तविकानि सन्ति।
मम च एकः आग्रहः अस्ति, बालकान् ईश्वरस्य महिमा मा वदतु, तस्य अद्य आवश्यकता नास्ति, बालकान् साधानां महिमा वदतु। साधुः स्वयमेव ईश्वरस्य महिमा व्याख्यास्यति। सन्ताः दृष्टवन्तः, परन्तु ईश्वरः न दृष्टवान्, सः केवलं तत् न विश्वसिति। रामः कदा जातः ? कृष्णः कदा अभवत् ? नरसिंहः एवम् अभवत्, वराहः एवम् अभवत्, सः तथापि न जानाति किन्तु यदि
यदि बालकः सन्तानाम् महिमा परिचितः भवति तर्हि तेषां सन्तानाम् समीपे कुत्रचित् सः ईश्वरं अवश्यमेव प्राप्स्यति। ईश्वरे विश्वासः न्यूनः भवति, ईश्वरस्य विश्वासः केवलं साधुः एव दृढः भवति।
