सम्मान से संकल्प की यात्रा है जिज्ञासा। फिर जब संकल्प आता है कि हमारा मन साफ हो जब इस प्रकार का संकल्प आप उदित करते हो तब भागवत आपको निर्देशित करती हैं। क्या निर्देशन करती हैं?
तेजो वारि मृदाम्।।
मन को साफ करने के तीन जरिया हैं। जैसे पुराने समय में बर्तन साफ करने के लिए आग, पानी और माटी चाहिए। ऐसे ही मन को खाली करने के लिए सबसे पहले आपको धीमहि करना पड़ेगा। मन बुद्धि को उल्टा करके सब कुछ ठाकुरजी के चरणों में चढ़ाना पड़ेगा। सब कुछ निकालना पड़ेगा। जब वह सब कुछ खाली हो जाए। और खाली होने के बाद भी उसकी सफाई करनी जरूरी है।
खाली होने के बाद अगर साफ नहीं हुआ और अगर उसमें असद् का एक तृण भी उसमें पड़ा रहा रह गया तो डाला हुआ सारा दूध फट जाएगा, बर्बाद हो जाएगा। इसलिए पहले तुम धीमहि करके पहले उसको खाली कर लो। मतलब मन बुद्धि को उस तरफ झुका दो, उस तरफ लगा दो। इसी का मतलब धीमहि है।
किसकी तरफ झुका दो? जो सत्यम परम है। जो परम सत्य है। एक ही ठाकुर है-
साँचो इक राधारमण झूठो सब संसार।।
जब उस तरफ लगाओगे तो मन खाली हो जाएगा। जब खाली हो जाएगा तो साफ करना पड़ेगा। साफ कैसे होगा? आग चाहिए, माटी चाहिए और पानी चाहिए। मन को साफ करना चाहते हो तो सबसे पहले आग चाहिए। कृष्ण प्रेमाग्नि तुम्हारे पास हो। संकीर्तन में नैनों से बहे आंसू तुम्हारे पास हो और महात्माओं की चरणरज तुम्हारे पास हो।
जब यह तीन चीज तुम्हारे पास होगी
तेजो वारि मृदाम्।। तब तुम्हारे मन में इतनी पवित्रता आ जाएगी, इतनी स्वच्छता आ जाएगी कि ठाकुर उसमें अवतरित हो जाएंगे।

The journey from ‘Samman’ or respect to Sankalpa or resolve is Jigyasa. When you resolve or the Sankalpa arises within you that your mind should be cleansed then Srimadbhagwat instructs you or indicates the direction. What does it say?
‘Tejo vaari mriddam’||
There are three things to cleanse your mind. In the olden times, for cleaning the utensils, fire, water and mud was used. In the same way, in order to cleanse or empty your mind, first of all you need ‘Dheemahi’! You will have to offer your mind and intellect at the Divine Lotus Feet of Shree Thakurji. You must remove everything from within! Once, you have emptied everything, then a thorough cleansing needs to be done.
After being emptied, if the proper cleaning is not done and even a trace of untruth or ‘Asadd’ remains then the entire milk will become bad or useless. So, first of all do the ‘Dheemahi’ to empty it. Meaning, turn your mind and intellect towards God and devote yourself to Him! This is the meaning of ‘Dheemahi’.
Which side do you tum? He is Satyam Param! The absolute truth! There is only one Thakur-
‘Sancho ik Radha Raman jhootho sab sansar’||
When you turn towards Him then automatically you become empty. Then you need to do the cleaning or the purification. Now, how does one cleanse? You need fire, mud and water. If you want to cleanse your mind then the fire is the ‘Krishna-Premagni’. The tears that roll down your cheeks during the Sankirtana is the water and Sadguru Charan Rujja or the holy dust of the Lotus Feet of the Mahatmas is the mud.
When you are blessed with these three things then it becomes, ‘Tejo vaari mriddam’! Then, your mind will be so clean and pure that the Divine will incarnate therein!
