संस्कृत की मूल भाषा में किसी भी प्रकार की गाली का एक भी शब्द नहीं है। जब से हिंदी और फिर अन्य भाषाओं का संबंध हुआ, मुगल साम्राज्य का स्थापत्य हुआ तो उस समय हिंदी भाषी और मुगलों में आपस में विवाद हो जाता था तो एक दूसरे की कुरीतियों की ही बात करते थे। गाली का अर्थ ही यही होता है एक दूसरे की कुरीतियों पर ही गाली दी जाती थी।
किसी संस्कृति किसी संस्कार में बहन और माँ तक से भी संबंध बनाने का अधिकार कर दिया गया था, यह ऐतिहासिक बात है इसलिए उसका संबंध है गालियों में हिंदी भाषा में हुआ। यह इतिहास है। हम पत्नी के भाई को साले साहब कहते हैं।अब यह एक शब्द गाली कब से बना? अभी चलते हुए कोई बोल दे तो झंझट हो जाएगा।
हर एक घटनाक्रम के पीछे इतिहास जुड़ा हुआ है।
संस्कृत का जब वैश्विक काल उपस्थित था, उससमय समाज में इतनी समझ तो विद्यमान था की संस्कृत में एक दूसरे को गाली देने की आवश्यकता ही नहीं पड़ी। इसलिए उसमें किसी भी प्रकार की गाली शब्द का उदय ही नहीं हुआ।

There is no word of abuse in the original Sanskrit language. In Hindi and other languages developed inter connections; especially during the Mughal Period, conflicts arose between the Hindi speaking and Pharsi speaking Mughals. In such disputes, people would criticize each other’s social evils. That’s essentially an abuse; pointing out and criticizing the wrong practices of others.
It is a historical fact that in some cultures and traditions, even marital relationships with one’s sister or mother were considered acceptable. That’s why some abusive words in Hindi are based on it. For example, in Hindi, we respectfully refer the wife’s brother as ‘Saale Saheb.’ But then, how did this word become abusive? If someone utters it today in anger, it will result in a fight.
Every incident or an expression has a historical background.
When Sanskrit was widely spoken around the world, society had enough wisdom and there was no need to abuse or insult. That’s why no abusive words ever evolved in Sanskrit.
