*सबसे बड़ा मंत्र* गुरुदेव महाराज कहते हैं कि सबसे बड़ा मंत्र कौन सा है? आजकल अलग-अलग मंत्रों की परंपरा चली है कोई कोई मंत्र कह रहा है कोई हर एक संप्रदाय हर गुरु अपना एक अलग मंत्र कह रहा है। अगर वैदिक आश्रय सनातन का आश्रय लिया जाए तो सनातन धर्म के वैदिक स्वरूप में सबसे समर्थवान अगर कोई मंत्र है ,तो वह गायत्री मंत्र है। इससे ऊंचा मंत्र नही है। परंतु गायत्री के साथ मर्यादा जुड़ी है। गायत्री छंद का भी नाम है, गायत्री मंत्र का भी नाम है, और गायत्री साक्षात वेद माता है। देवी भी है, देवी स्वरूपा भी हैं ।छंद स्वरूप भी है, और मंत्र स्वरूप भी है। तो जो गायत्री मंत्र है वह साक्षात छंद में भी है, वह साक्षात जगत जननी स्वरूपा भी है। पर अगर मंत्र विशेष देखा जाए, तो वह तो *सूर्य की उपासना है*।

Which is the greatest Mantra? Gurudeva Maharaj says that different mantras are being chanted these days. Each Guru belonging to different sects proclaim their own Mantra. In Vedic Sanatana tradition the most important Mantra is the Gayatri Mantra. It is the foremost among all the Mantras. But it has certain discipline attached to it. Gayatri is a ‘Chhanda’ or a verse, it is a mantra and Ma Gayatri is Ved-Mata. She is the Devi as well as like the Devi, it is a verse as well as a mantra.
Therefore, Gayatri is a Mantra and the embodiment of the Divine Mother. As a Mantra it is the worship of the Sun!
