मन बस लेना जानता है़। क्या ले रहे हो इसकी स्वतन्त्रता उसने हमारे विवेक को दी है। मन के पास तो केवल तृष्णा है।

अब ये हमारा विवेक है कि अगर हम उसके सामने खण्डित रस परोसते रहे तो वो थोड़ी देर में फिर प्यासा होता जाएगा। फिर प्यासा होता जाएगा। फिर उसकी क्षुदा बढ़ती जाएगी। उसे कितना भी सुख देना फिर वो सुख की माँग करेगा। पर एक कार्य करो

अब उस मन के सामने अखण्ड रस की प्राप्ति करा दो। अखण्डित रस दे दो। ऐसा रस जो कभी नहीं खण्डित हुआ। न पाँच हजार वर्ष पहले हुआ न पाँच सौ वर्ष पहले हुआ न आज समाप्त हुआ और न कभी आगे समाप्त होगा।

अगर ऐसा कोई रस है तो साक्षात् श्रीकृष्ण नाम का ही रस है।

ऐसा अखण्डित रस अगर मन को दिया तो

आनन्दाबुधिवर्धनम् प्रतिपदम् पूर्णाऽमृतस्वादनम्।।

आनन्द की अम्बुधि धीरे धीरे विस्तृत होती जाएगी।

The mind knows how to grasp things. What it grasps depends on our discretion, as we have been given the freedom of choice. The mind itself is driven by desire.

It is up to our discrimination, if we keep on serving it unfulfilled desires, it will soon become thirsty wanting more. Its hankering will increase, and no matter how much we offer it, the mind will keep demanding more. But there is a way out.

Instead, offer the mind a taste of pure eternal joy. Give it the experience of the whole, undivided, and never-ending joy that neither diminished five thousand years ago, nor five hundred years ago, nor has it ended today and it will never end in the future.

Such a joy is the essence of the divine name of Lord Krishna.

When the mind is fed with this undivided joy, the ocean of bliss will expand infinitely,

‘Anandbudhivardhanam pratipadam poornaamritaswadanamII’

Slowly, the ocean of bliss will keep expanding.
