जीवन में विषय चढ़ता है आध्यात्म उतरता है। भोग हृदय में चढ़ता है प्रेम हृदय में उतरता है। दोनों में भेद है।
बड़ा होना चरनों से शुरु होता है पहले चलता है फिर अनुभव होता है की अब ये बड़ा होने लगा है। इसलिए संसार नीचे से ऊपर बढ़ता है अध्यात्म कानों से नीचे उतरता है।
जब अध्यात्म कानों से नीचे उतरता है तो परमात्मा को नीचे उतार लेता है। इसलिए भक्ति भगवान को नीचे उतारती है ऊपर चढ़ाती नहीं है।
लोगों में देवता चढ़ जाते हैं माताएं चढ़ जाती है भक्ति चढ़ाती नहीं है किसी को, नीचे उतार लेती है।

It is the nature of passion to rise above and go to head whereas, spirituality percolates down. Sensual pleasures arise in an individual but Prema or Divine Love seeps within. There is a difference between the two!
As one grows older, the process begins with the feet, one walks then experiences that now he/she are becoming older. That is why I say that the world rises up and spirituality trickles down through nooks and corners.
When spirituality enters through the ears it gets the Almighty to come down within your heart. That’s why, Bhakti gets the Almighty to come down instead of going up!
We see people getting possessed by Devas or Mataji or getting to head but Bhakti doesn’t push up, it gets the Divine to come down!

जीवने विषयता उदयति आध्यात्मिकता च अवतरति। हृदि भोग उदेति हृदि प्रेम अवतरति। तयोः भेदः अस्ति ।
वर्धमानः सोपानैः आरभ्यते, प्रथमं चरति, ततः इदानीं वर्धमानः आरब्धः इति अनुभूयते। अतः अधोर्ध्वं जगत् वर्धते, अध्यात्मं कर्णेभ्यः अवतरति।
यदा आध्यात्मिकता कर्णात् अवतरति तदा ईश्वरं अवतरति। अत एव भक्तिः ईश्वरं अधः आनयति, न तु उपरि।
देवाः जनानां मध्ये ऊर्ध्वं गच्छन्ति, मातरः उपरि गच्छन्ति, भक्तिः कस्यचित् उत्थापनं न करोति, अवतारयति।
