संपूर्ण गौड़ियाओं में देखा जाए तो मूलभूत रूप से चौसठ पुष्प हैं। परन्तु उन सबके भीतर की एक डोरी श्रीगौरनिताई हैं। ऐसे तो कोई संस्था भी अलग है, मठ भी अलग है, कोई श्रीनित्यानन्द परिवार का, कोई श्रीश्यामानन्द परिवार का है, ऐसे तो मुख्यतः कोई श्रीगोपालभट्ट परिवार का है, कोई श्रीरूपानुग है। चौसठ पुष्प हैं पर श्रीमनमहाप्रभु की ऐसी डोरी है जिस डोरी से ही ये सारे फूल माला बनें‌है‌ और वो माला श्रीराधारानी धारण कर रखी हैं।

Among all the Gaudiyas, there are essentially sixty-four flowers. However, the thread that binds them all together is Shri Gaur-Nitai. While there may be different institutions and monasteries—some belonging to the Shri Nityananda lineage, others to the Shri Shyamananda lineage, some to the Shri Gopal Bhatta lineage, and some following the Shri Rupanuga tradition—all these are like individual flowers. Yet, it is Shree Mahaprabhu who acts as the single thread that strings them into a one garland. And this divine garland is lovingly adorned by Shree Radharani.
