*हरि शब्द के 14 अर्थ*
आज कथा के दौरान महाराज श्री ने हरि शब्द के 14 अर्थों का वर्णन किया
1 यम, हरि शब्द का एक अर्थ है यम
2 दूसरा अर्थ है पवन, बृज में श्वास भी भजन है
3 इन्द्र भी हरि है
4 चन्द्रमा को भी हरि कहते हैं
5 सूर्य को भी हरि कहते हैं
जैसे सूर्य से प्रकृति खिल उठती है वैसे ही भगवान को देखकर हरि को देखकर भक्त खिल उठते हैं
6 हरि विष्णु को भी कहते हैं हमारे राधा रमण जी का नाम विष्णु है । तीसरे पद में जन्म लेने के कारण भगवान का नाम पड़ा विष्णु रोहिणी नक्षत्र के तीसरे पद में जन्म लिया है
7 हरि सिंह को भी कहते हैं शेर को भी हरि कहते हैं स्वयं हमारे राधा रमण लाल नरसिंह रूप में प्रकट हुए हैं नरसिंह चतुर्दशी के दिन श्री गोपाल भट्ट गोस्वामी के मन में भाव था कि हे भगवान जैसे आप खंबा फाड़ कर नरसिंह रूप में प्रकट हो सकते हो तो मेरा श्रृंगार धरने के लिए क्या शालिग्राम से प्रकट नहीं हो सकते इसलिए शालिग्राम से स्वयं राधा रमण लाल जी प्रकट हुए
8 हरि शब्द का एक अर्थ है किरण रश्मि जैसे सूर्य की किरण, चंद्रमा की किरण, उसको भी अमरकोश में हरी कहते हैं
9 हरि का नववर्थ होता है घोड़ा अश्व को भी हरी कहा गया है। श्री ठाकुर जी जब चलते हैं तो पितामह भीष्म का रहे हैं भीष्म स्तुति में ठाकुर जी पर घोड़े की धूल की रज चढ़ी होती है। पितामह भीष्म कहते हैं वृंदावन वालों को उनसे प्रेम हुआ जो गईया की धूल से दुसरित होते हैं पर मुझे तो उसे टेडी टांग वाले पर प्रेम हुआ जो घोड़े की धूल से दुसरित होते हैं।
10 हरि शब्द का दसवां अर्थ है तोता महाप्रभु जी कहते हैं गौर बोल हरि हरि शुक बोले हरि हरि तोते को जो रटा दो वही बोलता है वृंदावन में किशोरी जी ने तोते को जो रटा दिया है वह वही बोलता है। तोता किशोरी जी के सामने ठाकुर जी की प्रिया माधुरी का वर्णन करता है, और ठाकुर जी के सामने प्रिया जू के श्रृंगार का वर्णन करता है
11 हरि का एक अर्थ होता है सर्प ,सांप को भी हरि कहते हैं।
12 हरि शब्द का एक अर्थ होता है, कपि। वानर ठाकुर जी की मित्र मंडलियों में वानर भी है लीला में वानर छत पर चढ़कर दूर से देखते हैं कि कोई गोपी तो नहीं आ रही अगर गोपी आई दिखे तो आवाज दे देते हैं जिससे ठाकुर जी सावधान हो जाते हैं। इसलिए ठाकुर जी को यह वरदान मिला है कि उनका बृजवास मिला हुआ है जो आपके मोह की वस्तु होगी वानर उसका हरण कर लेते हैं जैसे बटुआ ,चश्मा।
13 हरि शब्द का अगला अर्थ है पिंगल, हनुमान जी का नाम है पिंगल वर्ण वानर भूरा ठाकुर जी की आंखों में जब किशोरी जी का प्रतिबिंब पड़ता है तो वह भूरी हो जाती है इसलिए उन्हें हरि कहा गया
14 अगला अर्थ है मेंढक मेंढक को भी हरि कहा गया है जैसे मेंढक वन और बगीचा में रहते हैं ऐसे ही ठाकुर जी भी वन और बगीचा में विहार करते हैं ऐसे ही ठाकुर जी भी सदगुरु की कृपा से जिसके हृदय में विहार कर ले सदा ही उसके हृदय में बस जाते हैं

The Fourteen Meanings of the Word “Hari”:
During today’s Katha, Maharajshri expounded upon the fourteen different meanings of the Divine Name “Hari.” Each meaning reveals a different facet of the Lord’s all-pervading presence and His intimate relationship with His devotees.
1. Hari as Yama:
One meaning of the word Hari is Yama, the Lord of restraint and cosmic justice. This signifies that the Lord governs not only grace but also order, discipline, and moral consequence.
2. Hari as Vayu (Wind / Breath):
Another meaning of Hari is Pavana, the wind. In Vraja, even one’s breathing becomes Bhajan. Each inhalation and exhalation is imbued with remembrance of the Lord.
3. Hari as Indra:
The king of the celestial gods, Indra, is also referred to as Hari, for all divine authority ultimately flows from the Supreme.
4. Hari as the Moon (Chandra):
The moon, which nourishes and cools the world with its gentle rays, is also called Hari, symbolizing divine compassion and serenity.
5. Hari as the Sun (Surya):
The sun, which causes the nature to blossom and awaken, is also called Hari.
Just as the creation flourishes with the sunrays, the devotee also blossoms upon seeing the Lord.
6. Hari as Vishnu:
Hari is also the name of Vishnu.
Our beloved Shree Radha-Ramana Lal is also known as Vishnu. Because the Lord manifested in the third pada (quarter) of the Rohini Nakshatra, His name became Vishnu; the all pervading omnipresent.
7. Hari as the Lion (Simha):
The word Hari also means lion.
Indeed, our Shree Radha-Ramana Lal manifested as Narasimha.
On Narasimha Chaturdashi, Shree Gopal Bhatta Goswami Pada prayed:
“O Lord, if You can emerge from a pillar, can You not appear from this Shaligram and accept my service?”
In response, Shree Radha-Ramana Lal manifested directly from that Shaligram stone.
8. Hari as Rays of Light (Kiran / Rashmi):
In the Amarakosha, the rays of the sun and moon are also called Hari, signifying that the divine illumination dispels ignorance.
9. Hari as the Horse (Ashva):
Another meaning of Hari is horse.
In the Bhishma-stuti, Pitamaha Bhishma describes the Lord covered in the dust raised by the hoofs of His chariot’s horses.
Bhishma Pitamaha declares:
“The people of Vrindavan love You covered with the dust which emanates from the feet of the cows but I fell in love with the One who stands on one and a half feet and is covered with the dust created by the galloping horses.”
10. Hari as the Parrot (Shuka):
The tenth meaning of Hari is parrot.
Shree Mahaprabhu taught: “Gaur bolo Hari Hari.”
A parrot repeats whatever is taught to it.
In Vrindavan, Kishoriju taught her parrot the divine word.
Before the Lord, the parrot describes Her beauty and
before Kishoriju, it describes His sweetness; thus serving as a messenger of their Divine love.
11. Hari as the Serpent (Sarpa):
The word Hari also means serpent, symbolizing mystery, power, and divine vigilance.
12. Hari as the Monkey (Kapi):
Hari also means monkey.
In the Lord’s Leela, monkeys form a part of His intimate circle. They perch on rooftops, watching from a distance, if a gopi approaches, they alert the Lord in advance.
So, the monkeys have received a unique boon in Vraja:
Whatever object enchants them; they will snatch it, whether it be our purse or spectacles.
13. Hari as Pingal (Tawny-Hued):
Another meaning of Hari is Pingal, a tawny or golden-brown hue.
This is also the name of Shree Hanuman.
When the reflection of Shree Kishoriju falls into the Lord’s eyes, they take on this tawny glow, so He is called Hari.
14. Hari as the Frog (Manduka):
The final meaning of Hari is frog.
Just as frogs dwell joyfully in forests and gardens, Thakurji delights in forest groves and gardens.
Likewise, by the grace of our Guru, when the Lord enters the garden of our heart, He dwells there eternally.
