श्री राधारमणो विजयते ||
आशीर्वाद देना सबका अधिकार है। जो प्रणाम कर सकता है वह आशीर्वाद भी दे सकता है। जिसने प्रणाम नहीं किया, वह आशीर्वाद नहीं दे सकता। जिसने जीवन में जितना प्रणाम किया, राम के जीवन में पहला अभ्यास है प्रणाम।
मात पिता गुरु नावहि माथा।।
जो प्रणाम की प्रतिभा जानता है वह आशीर्वाद भी दे सकता है।
जो प्रणाम लेना जानता है वह आशीर्वाद नहीं दे सकता। प्रणाम करके जिसने आशीर्वाद कमाया है वही दूसरे को आशीर्वाद दे सकता है। तुमने कमाया ही नहीं। तुमने धन कमाया ही नहीं तब तुम धन कहां से दोगे? तुमने आशीर्वाद कमाए हैं? कमाओ पहले फिर आशीर्वाद दो।
यह सेवा से मिलते हैं।
तपस्या से वरदान मिलते हैं, सेवा से आशीर्वाद मिलता है। वरदान विफल होते हैं, आशीर्वाद कभी विफल नहीं होते। वरदान तो फेल हो जाते हैं। बड़े-बड़े रावण कुंभकरण का भी फेल हुआ है पर वरदान फेल होते हैं पर आशीर्वाद कभी फेल नहीं होते। उपनिषद वरदान नहीं देते, आशीर्वाद देते हैं, वेद वरदान नहीं देते,आशीर्वाद देते हैं। और एक बात कहूं
सद्गुरु वरदान नहीं देते, आशीर्वाद देते है। माता-पिता वरदान नहीं देते, आशीर्वाद देते हैं। शांतनु ने भीष्म को आशीर्वाद दिया और वह ऐसा फला के सामने कृष्ण खड़े थे और भीष्म मुस्कुराते हुए प्राणों को छोड़ दिए।

Everyone has the right to bless! The one who knows how to offer Pranams, he then also knows how to bless. The one who doesn’t know or does not offer Pranams, he/she cannot bless! The person who is humble and doesn’t hesitate to offer Pranams, like we learn from Shree Rama’s life how to do Pranam-
‘Maat Pita Guru naavahi maatha’||
The one who understands the glory of Pranam, he is well aware of blessing!
It is not at all necessary that the one who accepts Pranams can’t bless. The one who has earned blessings by offering Pranams has got sufficient bank balance to give also! If you haven’t earned it, how can you give it? Have you earned blessings in your life? First earn it then give it!
This is only possible through Sewa!
By doing Tapasya, you can get boons but by Sewa you get blessed. Boons can fail or in other words can be altered but blessings are sacrosanct! Boons are indeed earned after penance but if not asked correctly we have seen opposite results as well. Even Ravana, Kumbhakarana’s boons did not materialize the way they wanted but the blessings fructify and immortalize the reciever! The Upanishads don’t give boons, instead they bless. Even the Vedas bless us and don’t give boons. I would like to add one more thing;
Sadguru blesses us, doesn’t not grant any boon! Parents bless us, don’t give us boons! Shantanu blessed Bheeshma and it fructified so beautifully that Lord Krishna was standing before him and while doing His darshsan, with a smile on his lips he left for the eternal abode!

आशीर्वादं दातुं सर्वेषां अधिकारः अस्ति। नमस्कारं कर्तुं शक्नुवन् आशीर्वादं अपि दातुं शक्नोति। न नमस्कृतः आशीर्वादं दातुं न शक्नोति । यावत् सः स्वजीवने नमस्कारं कृतवान्, तावत् रामस्य जीवने प्रथमः अभ्यासः नमस्कारः एव।
माता, पिता, गुरु, नवाही मठा।
अभिवादनप्रतिभां ज्ञात्वा आशीर्वादमपि दातुं शक्नोति ।
अभिवादनग्रहणं ज्ञात्वा आशीर्वादं दातुं न शक्नोति । नमस्कृत्य आशीर्वादार्जितः एव परेषां आशीर्वादं कर्तुं शक्नोति । त्वया अपि न अर्जितम्। यदि भवता धनं न अर्जितम् तर्हि कुतः धनं दास्यसि? किं भवता आशीर्वादः अर्जितः ? प्रथमं अर्जयन्तु ततः आशीर्वादं ददातु।
अस्मिन् सेवायां भवन्तं पश्यामः।
तपः आशीर्वादं जनयति सेवा आशीर्वादं च ददाति। आशीर्वादः विफलः भवति, आशीर्वादः कदापि न विफलः भवति। आशीर्वादः असफलः भवति। बृहद् रावणकुम्भकरणमपि विफलं किन्तु वराः विफलाः किन्तु आशीर्वादाः कदापि विफलाः न भवन्ति। उपनिषदं न वरं ददति, आशीर्वादं ददति, वेदा वरं न ददति, आशीर्वादं ददति। एकं अपि वदामि
सद्गुरुः वरं न ददाति, आशीर्वादं ददाति। मातापितरौ आशीर्वादं न ददति, आशीर्वादं ददति। शान्तनुः भीष्मस्य आशीर्वादं दत्तवान् तथा च अभवत् यत् कृष्णः तस्य पुरतः स्थितः आसीत् तथा च भीष्मः स्मितं कृत्वा प्राणान् त्यक्तवान्।
