*मनमाध्वगौडेश्वर वैष्णवाचार्य श्री पुंडरीक गोस्वामी जी महाराज*
ब्रज जो है वह हमको रज देता है। और द्वारिका हमें चंदन देती है। वृंदावन रज देता है, दोनों में फर्क क्या है दोनों में बहुत फर्क है। चंदन घिसा जाता है, रज घुलती है। चंदन में प्रयास करना पड़ता है, रज प्रयास रहित है। चंदन झड़ता है, सूखता है, रज झड़ती नहीं है, उसकी अपनी अनुभूति है। गुरुदेव महाराज कहते हैं कि मेरे सहित बहुत सारे ऐसे लोग हैं, जो चंदन को जब घिसकर माथे पर लगाकर, श्री जी को विराजमान करते हैं, तो ऐसा लगता है कि पूरा रास हो रहा है।

Katha Sutra:
BRAJA gives us ‘Rujja’. Dwarika gives us Chandan or sandalwood. There is distinction between the two. Chandan needs to be ground and rubbed into a paste whereas the Rujja dissolves. The sandal-paste needs an effort but in the case of Rujja, no effort is needed. The Chandan peels off after drying but in the case of Rujja, it is totally different experience.
Gurudeva Maharaj says that along with him there are quite a few others who experience that when they apply the sandal-paste on Shreeji’s forehead they have the Darshan of ‘Raas’!
