Pundrik Ji Sutra 15-02-2024

‘Shakat’ or the bullock cart represents suspicion or diffidence. Each individual has his/her own vision or viewpoint. ‘Shakat’ is a person who shows that he/she is steeped in Rasa and in order to get it keeps on accumulating different things, but keeps on changing minute to minute because the desire is never ending. The thing which seems to have given Rasa is limited.

This is what happens with all of us. In our life, we are seeking the taste of a particular Rasa. Technically speaking, we want a very distinct taste like a particular type of vision or a very distinctive vocabulary. So, somewhere or the other the desire is of Rasa from different things. The problem is that our desire of Rasa is external, we seek it outside!

One doesn’t understand that whether the Rasa was in the object or in you? In reality, the Rasa is not in that object, it is within you. The Rasa of each and every individual is different. One maybe be delighted with the object whereas, the same object maybe painful for another!

The fact is that we are miserable because of our own imaginations. There is just a perception sans any situation! If you see an object from the outside, it is different but as you go deeper and see it minutely, the appearance changes. Outside is Rasa, the ‘Raseshwara’ is within.

This is the gross view. For some, Rasa is most important, for another the ‘Raseshwara’ is most important! This is ‘Shakat’!
