Pundrik Ji Sutra 17-09-2023

There are two things – whether you are doing the Bhagwat Katha or you yourself have become Bhagwat? Shree ‘Shukdevji’ Maharaj became a Bhagwat first and then the Bhagwat appeared through him! The meaning of becoming Bhagwat is that your behaviour or conduct has to be impeccable, this holds an important place in life!

What do you mean by saying that the conduct is most important? To correct these three things-
‘Aahar, Vyavahar and vichar’ (Food, behaviour and thinking).

This is its application. There is no other meaning other than this. To carry a Mala 24×7 is not its application. One gets the Mala by the Divine grace! Or else, even though it may seem in your hand but in reality, it isn’t there! Yet, those who are blessed with it are indeed very fortunate! One should have the Mala for sure! You should have the Mala, ‘Pothiji’, any scripture handy. These are all related to being Bhagwat!

The application depends on only these three things. Firstly, on your conduct. We should look at the other person as divine, irrespective of whatever the person mightbe. To see the person a divine means to do the darshan of the Divine in every one around you and you should hear the Katha with this feeling of ‘Shraddha’!

No one becomes big or small by sitting up or down. We see that for seating there are many problems crop up as to who should sit up and who should sit down?

The ‘Vyasa-Peetha’ doesn’t see up or down but it does see the width or a big heart! You might speak as much as you want and there is no one to hear but at times just a single person sitting on the ground can generate the consciousness of millions!

तत्र द्वौ विषयौ – भवान् भागवतस्य कथां कथयति वा स्वयं भागवतः अभवत्? श्री शुकदेव जी भागवत हो गये ततो भागवत उनसे प्रकट होता है। भागवतत्वस्य अर्थः अस्ति यत् जीवने आचरणं प्राधान्यं दातव्यम्।

आचरणस्य प्राधान्येन किम् अभिप्रेतम् ? त्रीणि वस्तूनि समाधाय- .
आहारः, व्यवहारः, विचाराः च।

इति तस्य प्रयोगः । एतदतिरिक्तं कोऽपि अनुप्रयोगः नास्ति। सर्वं दिवसं माला सह परिभ्रमणं तस्य प्रयोगः न भवति। तत् धनं ईश्वरस्य प्रसादात् आगच्छति। हस्तेन अपि प्राप्तुं न शक्तवान्। तथापि ये पृथिव्यां निवसन्ति ते भाग्यवन्तः । भवतः समीपे धरनी आवश्यकी अस्ति। परितः माला, पुस्तकानि, पुस्तकानि च सदा भवेयुः। किञ्चित् देवसम्बद्धं वस्तु।

अनुप्रयोगः केवलं त्रयाणां विषयेषु आधारितः अस्ति। स्वभावे इति । अस्माभिः पुरतः स्थितं व्यक्तिं ईश्वरवत् द्रष्टव्यम्। कथं भवति ? ईश्वरवत् सर्वेषु ईश्वरं दृष्ट्वा कथां कथयेत् इत्यर्थः। अनेन श्रद्धया ।

उपरि अधः उपविश्य कोऽपि बृहत् न भवति। बहुषु स्थानेषु कः अधः उपविशति, कः उपरि उपविशति इति बहु भ्रमः भवति ।

व्यासपीठः ऊर्ध्वतां वा ऊर्ध्वतां वा न पश्यति, विस्तारं पश्यति। त्वं कोटिं वक्तुं शक्नोषि श्रोतुं कोऽपि नास्ति तथा च कश्चन भूमौ उपविष्टः अपि सहस्राणां चैतन्यं जागरयति।

दो चीज हैं- आप भागवत की कथा कर रहे हैं या स्वयं भागवत हो गए हैं? श्रीशुकदेव जी भागवत हो गए हैं फिर उनमें से भागवत प्रकट होती हैं। भागवत होने का अर्थ है कि हम जीवन में आचरण की प्रधानता रखें।

आचरण की प्रधानता का अर्थ क्या है? तीन चीज को ठीक करना-
आहार, व्यवहार और विचार।

यही इसका एप्लीकेशन है। इसके अलावा कोई एप्लीकेशन नहीं। दिनभर माला लेकर घूमना, इसका एप्लीकेशन नहीं है। वह तो भगवान की कृपा से माल हाथ आती है। हाथ आकर भी नहीं आ पाती। फिर भी जो धरते हैं उनका सौभाग्य है। धरनी चाहिए पास अपने। आसपास माला, पोथी, ग्रंथ ऐसी चीज सदा रहनी चाहिए। कुछ भगवत संबंधी वस्तु।

एप्लीकेशन तीन ही चीज पर होता है। व्यवहार पर। हम सामने वाले को भगवान की तरह देखें। कैसा भी है। भगवान की तरह मतलब सब में भगवान का दर्शन करके कथा सुनाना चाहिए। इस श्रद्धा से।

ऊपर नीचे बैठने से कोई छोटा बड़ा नहीं हो जाता। बहुत सारी जगह इसका बहुत झंझट हो जाता है कि कौन नीचे बैठेगा, कौन ऊपर बैठेगा?

व्यास पीठ ऊँचाई नीचाइ नहीं देखती, चौड़ाई देखती है। तुम लाख कहो कोई सुनने वाला ही ना हो और कोई जमीन पर भी बैठकर हजारों की चेतना जागृत कर देता है।

Shri Manmadhava Gaudeshwar Vaishnava Acharya Shri Pundrik Goswami Ji, is the Grandson of Famous Saint Shri Atul Krishna Goswami Ji Maharaj & son of famous Bhagwat orator Shri Shribhuti Krishna Goswami ji maharaj. He belongs to the family of Shri Gopal Bhatt Goswami ( One of the Famous Six Goswamis of Vrindavan who were inspired and initiated by himself Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu) who established the Radha Raman Temple in Vrindavan in 1542 and also his samadhi exists within the temple premises. Maharaj Sri is the 38th Acharya in the lineage of Gaudiya Parampara.
