*कथा सूत्र*
*मनमाध्वगौडेश्वर वैष्णवाचार्य श्री पुंडरीक गोस्वामी जी महाराज*
*भगवान के भक्त* गुरुदेव महाराज कहते हैं कि अब चार प्रकार के लोग होते हैं, जो मुझे भजते हैं। आर्त, जिज्ञासु अर्थांथी और ज्ञानी।
सबसे पहले आर्त कौन है? जैसे गजेंद्र। गजेंद्र भगवान को पुकारता है डूबता हुआ और भगवान उसे बचा लेते हैं। दूसरे हैं जिज्ञासु जिज्ञासु कौन है? जैसे नैमीशारण में बैठे हुए शौनक जो बार-बार जिज्ञासा सूत से कर रहे हैं, और पुराणों की चर्चा हो रही है।
तीसरे है अर्थांथी, जैसे ध्रुव जो शुरू में तो इसीलिए गया था कि माता ने अपमान कर दिया था। राजा बनने की इच्छा थी,पर अंत में भक्ति और
ज्ञानी कौन है सनक, सनंदन, सनातन, सनत कुमार, नारद जी भी जिनसे बैठकर भागवत सुनते हैं। भगवान तुरंत एक बात कहकर यह स्पष्ट कर रहे हैं। उनमें से नित्य एक ही भाव से स्थित होकर प्रेम भक्ति वाला ज्ञानी भक्त ही अति उत्तम है ।प्रेम भक्ति वाला ज्ञानी भक्त जैसे गोपी किसी विश्वविद्यालय में नहीं गई, पर उसने जो कह दिया उस पर विश्वविद्यालय भी थीसिस कर रहे हैं। भक्ति में ज्ञान स्वयं सफुर्जित होने लगता है जब गुरु कृपा हो जाती है तो ज्ञान स्वयं सफुर्जित होने लगता है एकेडमिकली चाहे ना भी पढ़ा हो, लेकिन सफुर्जा उसके अंदर प्रकट होने लगती है।

Katha-Sutra:
The devotees of God [Bhagwan ke Bhakta]
Guru Maharaj says that there are four types of devotees who worship God. The distressed, inquisitorial, the seeker of material wealth and the wise.
Who is distressed? In the Shrimad Bhagavatam we see Gajendra as the example. He was being dragged down by ‘Graaha’ (Crocodile) and distressed, when he called upon Shree Hari, who appears instantly and saves him.
Second, who is an inquisitorial?
The Shaunakadi Rishis who are curious to know more and more about God, so request Shree Sutaji Maharaj to narrate the Katha.
The third category is the one who seeks material wealth. Shri Dhruva represents this category of Bhakta. He went to the forest because of the insult by his stepmother. He was desirous of the kingdom but when spiritual realization dawned, he becomes the Bhakta.
Sanak, Sanandan, Sanatan and Sanat Kumar represent the wise and Devarishi Narada also goes to them to hear the Bhagavad Katha.
The Lord clarifies that the wise Bhakta is the best out of the four. Those endowed with ‘Prema-Bhakti’, like the Gopis of Vrindavan, who never went to any university but whatever they uttered is today being researched by the universities all over.
When we are blessed with the grace of our Sadguru, Bhakti Maharani chooses us and wisdom dawns. This is not an academic knowledge, it is the divine knowledge which arises from within!
