Katha-Sutra:

Guru Maharaj says that our scriptures command that we should listen to everyone carefully. Whatever is opposed to our intrinsic nature should be shunned at all times. Good and bad exist in the world but we need to act keeping in mind the times and the situation. Sleep is needed but if one goes to sleep at 5 in the morning, people will surely ask that is it the time to sleep? If one is awake past midnight then again people will question? So, everything is good but anything which our conscience doesn’t allow should not be done.

Just ponder for moment that if we become oblivious of the pain of others, are we at peace with ourselves? Our scriptures ordain to be thoughtful and careful. A slight delay is not as harmful as acting wrongly. Delay can be acceptable but to act in haste without thinking causes immense damage.
