गुरुदेव महाराज कहते हैं कि महादेव पूरे सनातन का अस्तित्व हैं।इसे साधारण मत समझिए। अध्यात्म की एक चरम सीमा हैं।हमारे शरीर में रक्त की धारा बह रही है, और शिव की जटा में गंगा की धारा बह रही है। रक्त अपवित्र करता है, और गंगा पवित्र करती है। हमारे दो आंखें होते हुए भी हम देख नहीं पा रहे, और वह तीन आंखें बंद करके भी सत्य का दर्शन पा रहे हैं। सर्प को भी जो एक आसन दे दें।कहने का भाव है कि काटने वाले को भी एक पवित्र आसन दे सकें,सम्मान दे सकें। त्रिशूल पर डमरू। नाद और अनुशासन।संगीत डमरू में छिपा है, और त्रिशूल में अनुशासन छिपा है। संगीत अनुशासित करें। इसलिए महादेव त्रिशूल के ऊपर डमरू बांधकर रखते हैं। इस ब्रह्मांड में एक संगीतकार के लिए इससे बड़ा इशारा नहीं हो सकता। त्रिशूल है डिसिप्लिन और डमरू है उसका संगीत।

Katha-Sutra:
Guru Maharaj explains that Lord Shiva is the core essence of the Sanatana Dharma. Please don’t consider Him as less important. He is at the peak of spirituality. Like the blood flowing in our veins, the holy Ganga flows out of Lord Shiva’s matted locks. The blood carries the impurities whereas the holy Ganga purifies. We are unable to see the truth with our eyes wide open but the ‘Trilochan’ with the eyes focused on the truth, can see it. He wears snakes around His neck. This indicates that he accepts the poison also gracefully. He holds the trident and the ‘Damru’ in His hands, i.e. ‘Naad’ and discipline. The rattle drum signifies the divine sound and the trident represents discipline.
He is the greatest dancer and a musician.
He teaches us that dance in merriment but be watchful of the limits.
