गुरुदेव महाराज कहते हैं कि भक्ति में, भजन में, वही बड़ा है, जो पहले शरणागत हुआ है। बहुत जगह देखने में आता है, कि बालक माता-पिता से भी पहले समर्पित है। आजकल बच्चों के नए प्रश्न सामने आ रहे हैं, कि बालक कह रहे हैं, कि वृंदावन आना चाहते हैं लेकिन मैया आने नहीं दे रही। कुछ सालों पहले उल्टा चलता था, मैया कहती थी भजन कर ले, लेकिन बालक नहीं करते थे। वैसे आयु में बड़ा तो बड़ा है ही लेकिन भक्ति के मार्ग में, ठाकुर जी के चरणों में, अनुराग ,समर्पण जिसका पहले हुआ है, वही सबसे बड़ा है। आयु बड़ा होने में हमारा कोई परिश्रम नहीं है। बल्कि हम तो यह दिखाना चाहते हैं कि हम बिल्कुल बड़े नहीं हुए। सफेद बालों को झट से कल कर देते हैं। लेकिन भक्ति में बड़ा ही सबसे बड़ा है।

Katha-Sutra:
Guru Maharaj explains that in Bhajan or in Bhakti, the one who is surrendered is great. At many a places we see that little children are more devoted than the parents. Many youngsters want to come to Vrindavan but their parents don’t allow them. Till a few years ago, it was just the opposite, the parents were keen to come but the children wouldn’t let them. Generally, in the world the older is indeed elder but in the spiritual context, in Bhakti the one who is surrendered at the Lotus Feet of the Divine is older.
No effort is needed in growing older. These days it is fashionable to hide one’s age. People color their hair, do Botox treatment and what not to look younger.
In Bhakti, the Big is always is bigger!
