*मनमाध्वगौडेश्वर वैष्णवाचार्य श्री पुंडरीक गोस्वामी जी महाराज*
गुरुदेव महाराज कहते हैं कि ससुराल जाने वाली लड़कियों के लिए निर्देश है, कि जहां वह जा रही है वहां जाकर अपने बसना है। वह परिवार तो बसा बसाया है। तुमने बसना है, तुमने जाकर व्यवस्था करनी है, कि उस पद्धति उस परंपरा में तुम अविराजित हो सको। कन्या को ग्रहण करने वाले का भी यही धर्म है, कि वह जो अपने कुल अपने गोत्र को तिलांजलि देकर हमारे वंश की वृद्धि के लिए इस घर में आई है, बड़े से बड़े अभिमान और लालच से मुक्त होकर सहर्ष उसका स्वागत करना चाहिए। पुत्रवधू या वधू रूप में उसे घर में आने वाली युवती का हृदय अगर पीड़ित होगा, तो उसके गर्भ से आपके वंश को से दृढ़ता से बढ़ाने वाली संतान कहां से उत्पन्न होगी। संतान को जन्म देते समय खुद उस युवती के हृदय में आपके घर के प्रति सम्मान नहीं है, तो उसके गर्भ से जन्म लेने वाले व्यक्ति के प्रति कहां से होगा।

Katha-Sutra:
Guru Maharaj advises the bride getting married that after marriage, you will go to live with your husband and henceforth that will be your home. You will become a part of that family and get settled there. You will need to understand the traditions of that family and adapt yourself in order to adjust there.
The grooms family should also be accomodating and welcome the girl gladly leaving aside any inhibitions whatsoever.
Please note that for any reason if the girl is hurt or is disrespected, then how can you expect that baby in her womb, i.e. the next generation, to uphold the values of the family.
Our behaviour and right thinking plays a very important role in the growth and respect of the family.
