*सच्चे मित्र का स्वभाव* गुरुदेव महाराज कहते हैं कि दो मित्र बैठने भी हैं, तो क्या करते हैं? खाना पीना तो सबके साथ हो सकता है। कुछ हम सुधर लें और ईमानदारी से कुछ उसको सुधार लें। कहीं से गाली खा कर आए हो तो उसके पास बैठकर ऐसा लगे, कि हमसे बड़ा बादशाह कोई नहीं है। और कहीं से माला पहन कर आए हो ना तो उसके पास बैठकर ऐसा सुना दे कि तुरंत जमीन पर बिठा दे। उससे बढ़िया मित्र आपका इस दुनिया में नहीं हो सकता। चाटुकार और मित्र में यही फर्क है नदी में कभी-कभी उफान आता है और कभी-कभी वह सूख जाती है। पर घाट नदी के स्वभाव का निर्णय करके बनते हैं। यूजुअली गंगा यूं बहती है पर कभी-कभी बारिश आ जाए तो घाट डूब जाते हैं। कभी खूब सूखा पड़े तो फिर नीचे तक जाना पड़ता है। अंदाजा लगाना कठिन है, क्योंकि अगर नदी की स्वाभाविकता का अंदाजा ना हो तो घटना घट जाती है।

The nature of a true friend
When two friends are sitting together then what do they do? Guru Maharaj explains that eating, talking, laughing is common but we should try to understand and improve our relationship. For any reason if one is ridiculed and comes to sit with one’s best friend, he is made to feel on top of the world. And if one comes after being appreciated and filled with pride then the true friend puts one in the right place. This is the characteristic of a true friend. The true friend is always honest and speaks what is in our best interest whereas a flatterer will always try to say things which might not be factually correct.
The ‘Ghats’ are made according to the flow of the river.
The Ganga flows in a particular direction with a certain force but when it rains heavily, the water level goes up and the flow becomes fierce.
Alternatively, during peak summer months, the water level goes down and the flow becomes very slow.
If we are not aware of the nature of the river, it will become difficult to understand.
Therefore, we need to be honest with our friends.
